Helen and Matt live not far from us and it just so happens that many of their guests had also been at previous weddings we’d photographed – it was so cool to see them all again! Amongst them was one of our previous bride and grooms – Abi and Matt and a future bride and groom – Rachel and Matt. It’s not often you get a trio of Matts and they are all great friends too!
The ceremony was held at the beautiful St Mary’s Church in Newchurch and delivered by the same vicar we had at our wedding – a lovely surprise for us
Mitton Hall looked amazing as the sun shone through into the large reception room, highlighting all the stunning rustic details and flowers adorning the tables. The weather held out all day too which meant everyone could mingle out on the terrace with fancy cocktails and canapés.
To kick the evening off Pat Mulligan, DJ for Dancefloor Couture did his thing – not only great at what he does but a complete legend in the process! Dax On Sax then took the atmosphere up a notch with his serious saxophone skills, there’s so much energy to his set that even his quiff has moves of its own!

Just wanted to say what a fantastic job you both did of Helen and Matt’s wedding last year. Hoping you’ll get the nod for my son Jonathan (Jon/JB/Jonny) & his future bride Samantha’s wedding next March (2017) at Eaves Hall.
