Do you take Formal Group Photographs?
As a reportage photographer I'm there to capture all the natural moments of your wedding day, however we recognise that many couples want a few formal (or perhaps informal) group photographs also, I'm more than happy to take these for you and usually recommend no more than about 12 shots depending on the time available. This is something we'd discuss in more detail when we met with you for a brew and view.
If it’s Raining on our Wedding Day can we still get Pictures Outside?
Of course you can! I'm not afraid of a bit of water or mud - that’s what wellies and umbrellas are for!
What is a Pre-Wedding Shoot and what happens?
This is a fun and relaxed session where you can get used to being in front of the camera and my approach - a bit of a trial run for your wedding day (usually minus the attire!). I can do a pre-wedding shoot anywhere you like - the city centre, the park, woodland, an amusement arcade - it worked amazingly well for a previous shoot! I'm all ears to any suggestion, somewhere where you can be you and I can be creative is ideal!
Would you Travel Further Afield for a Wedding?
Absolutely! I love to travel and have been lucky enough to shoot a number of amazing weddings abroad - as long as my travel/accommodation expenses are covered I'm there!
Travel is calculated at 50p/mile and anything within a 50 mile radius of Burnley, Lancashire is included free of charge. If I need accommodation we’ll discuss that with you before you book with us.
How do you License your Images and what happens with Image Copyright?
Foxley Photography retain copyright of all images under international copyright laws. You're free to use the print quality files you receive for any form of personal use including personal printing but we don't allow commercial use without our prior consent in writing - more details can be found in our agreement form, please contact us
if you'd like a copy.
How do we Secure our Wedding Date?
Once you’ve paid the £400 non-refundable booking fee to secure your date that's it - We're all yours!
How long after our Wedding do we Receive our Images?
I can offer a preview on our blog usually about a week after your wedding and our normal turnaround for your full collection is around 6 weeks, this may vary during peak times.
What is a Venue Consultation and how long does it usually take?
This is an opportunity for me to meet with you in the run-up to the big day. I can go with you to your venue and have a look around to scope out possible shot locations. We can also run through all the timings of your day so we know what’s happening, where and when. It usually takes about an hour but if you'd like longer that’s fine by us.
Are you Happy to Work alongside Videographers?
Absolutely! Normally we liaise with them before the wedding so we can prepare where we’ll all be and when.
How do you Edit Images?
We take great care to edit each image with sensitivity keeping them looking as natural as possible whilst enhancing and applying our developed style, something we've worked very hard on over the years to refine. All images are edited using professional industry standard software to achieve the highest quality throughout our workflow.
How do we Access our Private Online Gallery?
You will receive an email invite to view your password protected gallery once your images are edited and uploaded. The advanced privacy options within the gallery mean that you decide who to share your images with and everyone makes their own login. The individual logins mean you can tailor the experience of others, hiding images you don't want people to see and keeping any product and album designs you might wish to produce in the built-in store private to your account.
How do we Order an Album and can our Friends and Family Order Prints?
As you browse your full collection, you may want to mark some images as favourites, these can then be easily accessed from within the online store which is built in to the gallery. This store makes it super easy to make your own print products and has some neat features too. AI is used to assemble album and product layouts automatically for you based on the images it knows you have engaged with most, which can be a great starting point for those unsure how to start designing. If you prefer full creative control that's an option too though. There are lots of great products available within the gallery to embody your images in physical print form, with your chosen design, colours and materials. Ordering albums, books and prints is a doddle for anyone signed up to your gallery. If you'd like a demo of a gallery please get in touch and you can give it a test run!
