We’d been looking forward to this wedding for a while after hearing all about it on the pre-wedding shoot – it didn’t disappoint!
There was a relaxed start to the day with Laura having her hair done at Fiorucci Hair followed by the rest of the preps at their house. Matt was at his usher’s house trying to calm his nerves with Sky Sports News and later a pre-ceremony beer with the guys (just one – he was very restrained).
The preps were followed by the beautiful ceremony at St Bartholomew’s Church in Wilmslow, drinks and canapés in the walled garden of the fabulous Colshaw Hall accompanied by the voice and saxophone skills of Daniel Sings, heartfelt speeches (yes there were tears), amazing dancing with inflatable musical instrument props and a cake cutting on the lawn at sunset, as well as some of the tastiest bbq food we’ve had in ages on the evening buffet.
Colshaw Hall has a lovely free and relaxed feel, it almost still feels like somebody’s home whilst being huge and luxurious at the same time and if you get the weather to enjoy the grounds too it’s pretty spesh!
