Last year was full of new and exciting experiences for me and AJ. We had more weddings and portrait shoots than ever before and this year is set to be busier again. We travelled near and far covering a good portion of the UK as well as popping over to the south of France for our first destination wedding!
Our clients have been amazing and have felt like true friends – hopefully the feeling is mutual and not just us being rosy-eyed We’ve come back from weddings this year feeling deliriously exhausted but also ‘high’ on the adrenaline of it all, having had so much fun with the couple and their guests – how many people can say they get a natural buzz from being at work!
In 2014 we saw handmade dresses and details, dogs wearing bowties, an usher who danced until his socks wore out…literally, a rockstar guest, a multiplayer smartphone game developed by the groom – projected on a wall and played by all the guests (as a self-confessed geek this was one of my faves), break dancing kids, fun with sparklers, plate smashing and a visit from a Premier League football manager to name some of the many highlights.
To every bride and groom we photographed this year, our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for being such great people to be around and work with, we feel mega privileged to have shared it all with you!
Onwards and upwards for 2015, hopefully we’ll have learnt more French by the summer.
