Where do we start with this one – it was our first destination wedding and an utterly amazing day! We got to visit our favourite country, France and we also got to see more of the south coast as the wedding was close to Nice.
It all started at the Grand-Hotel Du Cap Ferrat where Jil was getting ready with her mum and bridesmaids in one of the rooms overlooking the sea – the anticipation and excitement was growing by the minute and when she got into her Oscar de la Renta dress emotions were high – she looked amazing!
Meanwhile I had at this point left the girls to it and made my way to the Villa Ephrussi De Rothschild to see if Will was feeling suitably nervous and get some shots of the wonderful flower arrangements by Wayne Riley Flowers. Will was looking pretty damn dapper in his tuxedo along with his ushers and brothers (who were both best men).
There was such a relaxed atmosphere to this wedding, a cloudy start gave way to Riviera sunshine (that’s no ordinary light!) and guests from all over the world joined together to soak it all up – a beautiful outdoor ceremony, quirky canapés, champagne, fine dining and dancing into the night! Big mention to Aaron Jones of Reel Weddings who filmed the whole day and entertained us with his wit and charm!
There is far too much to mention so I’ll let the pictures do their thing.
Jil and Will we love your style!

December 16, 2014Wow. Where to start?! Aside from the most amazing venue, stunning couple and beautiful details what I LOVE about this is that I can feel what this wedding was like without having been there. The emotion and the relationships are so brilliantly told. It’s so hard to story tell like this and you have, perfectly. The black and white image of the bride and her dad just before she walks up the aisle in particular s just gold. Oh, and the bride’s shoes, magnificent!
